KNEW "EXCITEMENT was FUN"! Only problem is wherever, or whenever Billy would "find excitement"....there always seemed to
be TROUBLE!!:-)
The following is a brief excerpt from the
childrens book "It's SATURDAY!!" The first book in the "Little Billy Bradner"™ series.
Volume I: "It's
SATURDAY!"
Chapter one: "Billy woke up"!!
Billy woke up! He threw back the covers to his bed with
one quick "swoosh" of his arm. He excitedly hopped out of bed onto both feet.
"It's SATURDAY!" Billy exclaimed, "and I'm
going outside!".
Billy, who was a medium-sized boy in a medium-sized family, lived in a medium-sized home in a medium-sized
city.
He had a mom and dad who loved him, 3 best friends he laughed and played with, and 3 older sisters who picked
on him.
Billy was what the teachers liked to call "a bright boy". (I guess that meant he got "better than average grades").
The girls in school called him a "somewhat cute boy", but that didn't concern Billy too much. Sports was his thing. He
didn't care "what" sport it was, or "who" the athlete was, or "when it was" happening. If it was "all about winning", he
was "ALL for it"!!
Now Billy's mom told him she wanted him to be....
