(*note AT 23:31 (EST -05:00 GMT) on Friday, March 28th, 2008 A.D., leave "Kohl's Department Stores, #253 (Franklin Park) / 4865 Monroe St. / Toledo, OH USA" as a "currently employed" Kohl's associate, for the last time! Woohoo!!)
**I asked if I could leave. Steve said "So your done?" I said "Yes, I'm done". :-), and turned in my "effective last night at 11:31p.m." resignation the next morning. (It was getting too depressing for me to work there - So, I have taken a "leave of abscence" - WELL, that was before the world economy "tanked"!! OUCH. I thank them and will always be grateful for the friendships and memories, the time, money and effort they spent on me, and the valuable work experience I received!! BUT my working there was just "too hard" on me at the time, and I think too maybe some others as well? (family, associates, customers, friends...) (As my last words said: "It will all work out for the better." :-)

Sat., 3/29/08 - It's "A NEW DAY"!! Home at 12;01 a.m. (I had called Krista back, asked her how Kylie was, and "Thanked her", bought some milk, sodapop and cigarettes at Speedway. 3/29/08 - 04:30 am - Call Kohl's let them know: "I won't be in today. Then emailed a "resignation letter" to the store, district manager, and district maintenance manager. (Told my dad, he said "Yeah right" LOL!:-)
(Krista had told me during the week that Kylie could spend the night here friday and saturday night. I had plans (pizza, ping-pong, etc...). At 4:00 she called me, "Lois asked if Kylie could spend the night at her house (Lois and her Ex (sandy)'s daughter Julie, and Kylie are friends.), you can pick her up tomorrow and keep her tomorrow night and drop her off sunday. Pickup Ky at 3:20 at her mom's house, right after she got off the bus, drive straight to my house (I asked her: "Do you want to do your homework at the library, or at home at the kitchen table?" She said: "at home". Kylie worked on homework. Bill log onto "http://unemployment.ohio.gov" to register my "Unemployment Application" (I selected "Quit job" for "personal reasons" (they didn't have a "Hostile work environment" listed, or a "personality conflict with manager/associates", so I went with that.:-)
Bill and Ky ride bikes on sidewalk up to the video store. LOL!:-)
Bill give Ky snacks (Apple, cheezits, tea, slice of cake that Mrs. Wietrokowski gave to Ky and I, glass of milk), load up her bookbag and lunchbag, call her mom to let her know we were on our way, drive Ky back up to Temperance. Ky play in front yard with Alyssa (She and her other friend, are going to be a Bedford cheerleader for the "T-BIRDS". Sat., 4/20/08 - I went to the BGSU spring intrasquad football game, and Kylie said she would rather go to her mom's house and play, so I called Krista to make sure it was okay, then dropped Kylie off at her mom's. Well, long story short - I went to BG and watched the game (Brown team won 7 - 3!) "Go BG!! You won!!" LOL!!:-)
(*note to myself - I STILL can't find that "misplaced item" in our house to this day - can't put my finger on it's exact location, (I don't know, a prayer to "St. Micheal - the "lost things saint" and maybe it will "be there for me", but I don't want to "swear to it", LOL!:-)

Had a talk with some of the neighbors. (One of told me seems like you're being "awfully nice to my ", but "I'm never going to have to get "upset" about you doing anything "inappropriate", am I?"
(I assured him, "No, you will never have anything to worry about, from now on, Sir!":-)

(*note - if Jeff doesn't want to be "friends with me", hey that's okay, I'm probably not good enough to be a friend to him anyway. (Just please don't be mean to my parents. I've known them all my life, and I think they deserve the best. :-)
5/18/08 - After church, home, unload drums, change clothes, take kylie home. Return home and then after cleaning some more (wash, dry, fold laundry), and eating lunch (reheated pizza), I waved goodbye while "seeing bonny off" (back to Cincinnati) and "layed down" for a short nap. To speedway, buy "Mocca Latte" iced coffee, call Mom and Dad, tell them about performance and Bonny and Kylie and I's visit (and all about Bonny's "cleaning":-), they said "love you, see you when we get home (June 8th! woohoo!)", go back to Aldersgate for bible study class. Met 2 members of my class in church parking lot just as I was heading in. (Tony Edgington and Doug Craeger, they told me we had class from 2:30 - 6:30 (double seesion), and we only have "one last meeting" - next sunday, at Karen Price's house, for "communion" and "last gathering dinner" and study, then it's "onto graduation"!! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY, 2008 A.D. "LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH, AND LET IT BEGIN WITH ME... (You know I will "Thank a Vet today, and our Father the trinity...":-)
(I actually already "thanked OUR father yesterday, but little does he know, I am going to "call he and mom again today, "JUST to tell them I LOVE THEM" - and...maybe sneak in one more: "Thank you for being an American Veteran, Sir! I appreciate all you have donw for our country, may God Bless you and yours Sir."
...It's a new day!! (and mine started off with a "public television" rebroadcast of the Memorial Day celebration from Washington D.C. - and Mrs. Ella Fitzgerald siinging "A Prayer for Peace". (..ahhhh:-) Before that I heard the singing of "God Bless America".. (I love that song!:-) (When I get to be a Big Rock star....I am going to "combine those two into one song, do them ROCK and ROLL style (ya know "Heavy Metal" (but NOT disrespectful in ANY MEANS....NO!! I'm going to do them as "tastefully, respectfully and "toe-tappin/hand-clappin-LY" as can "HUMANYLY BE ACCOMPLISHED!!" - I "PROMISE YOU LORD"!! I really will...with ALL my soul and MIGHT, GOD!! - (***note to GOD - Hey, also "keep that little PRAYER" I posted here (you know, the one about the "insurgents", just between you and I for now, okay:-)
(*sigh...thanks)
"THANK YOU AMERICAN VETERANS!!! GOD BLESS YOU!! and "GOD BLESS YOURS!! MAY YOU FIND PEACE AND ETERNAL HAPPINESS IN THE LOVING BOUNDARIES OF OUR LORD!!" (Amen)

- Attended 2 Toledo Mudhen's games at 5th/3rd field over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. (We didn't quit "fare so well" at the 2 games I attended (3rd game of 3 in home series with Louisville, and 1st game in 3 game home series with Buffalo. But, we're still in first in IL west, so I went ahead and bought my "Mudhen's sleeveless jersey, and took it over to Dan Rodger's sporting goods, to have "Bradner Productions LLC" embroidered on the back, and an american flag and christian cross stitched onto the front. Also while I was there, I checked on my "SWIFTKIK" jacket that I had "Myspc/SWIFTKIK" added in embroidery on the back - sometime next week it will be ready. So be sure to "look for me "Sport'n that one!"" LOL!)

Sat., 5/31/08 - Only one more day til mom and dad are home! (They should be getting into bonny's from Tennessee about 5 pm:-) Vacuum entire house, scrub spots out of family room carpet with soda water and toothbrush. Was all set to go see Johnny (and Tammi's:-) Cappelletty's band play (Key's to Eden) at Bijou tonight, but I later had to "Nix" that.
Heat up last of pizza for dinner. Empty ice cube trays for mom and dad. Pay bills online (BB, At&T, Verizon). Prepare to go to bank 9 am monday to withdraw child support payment ($377) and drive up to Monroe county courthouse to pay for month of June, on monday.
Update website, watch ESPN highlights, eat popcorn, enjoy "last night of freedom for 3 1/2 months" To bed by 3:30, so I can get up at 7 and get to church by 8:00 (so I can pray "Dad doesn't KILL me" when he sees I have some bills that I have been "refinancing" (thank god! 0% interest until september and december! aghhhhhh!!)

Sun., 6/1/08 - WELCOME HOME MOM AND DAD!! Glad you could make it! :-) Welcome, come on in, and "stay awhile" - (YEAH, like 4 months!! LOL!) Bill to church, home change clothes, go to Anderson's buy rope clothesline to "tie up 8 foot 2x4's that are base of "interior wall" plastic sheeting "vapor barrier" to rafters of garage. (That is one thing I "have to get done" before mom and dad pull in the drive - Dad said "You can put that stuff up, BUT, I want my garage back when I get home!!")
Hug mom and dad as they finally walk back in there Toledo home! Help them with there bags...then "get out of there way" (It's always "such a deal" for mom to "arrive back home" - she has to "check everything out" and "inspect" and "critic" and "what not"....LOL!! So I think I'll just "go for a drive for a couple of hours" until I was to go to my "final bible study session" at 5 pm (Karen Price house - communion, ceremony, snacks, refreshments, hugs, well wishes, "See you at graduation"!! LOL. I didn't attend because I will be finishing the last of my "mountaintop completion cerficate in the fall, when I retake the class:-) Home, visit with mom and dad, ask them about their drive, watch TV, to bed. (Have to go to Monroe tomorrow a.m.)

Wed., 6/5/08 - Up at 7am, read paper in the garage, sip coffee. Create a GIF movie file for one of my "myspace friends", model Carleigh Wallace in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

She does some work with AMiginations Photography Studios down there, and I downloaded some of her photos from a shoot with them, and created a 5 cell GIF. I posted it from my "Bradner Productions LLC" account. Mom and Dad grocery shopping at Krogers (Dad said "Everyone must have gotten there Stimulus checks and spent them at Kroger's that day" LOL). Bill take a nap, mom and dad to Arby's for dinner. Bill to speedway (Nora offer me a job, declined due to "insuffieciently low pay":-), home, create a short MPeg movie file for my facebook and policelink profile pages.

(Woohoo Kylie, it will be great having you here, and being able to see you and laugh with you more than just three or four days out the month!! ("God, I'm in heaven" Thank you Lord for me being able to be here with family! I love you!)
Up at 6:00 am, make coffee, take coffee and paper out to the garage to read (So mom and dad could sleep in, and I wouldn't accidentally disturb them). Bid "Falia" (Weitrokowski's Scotch terrier) a good morning when Roxy let her out (to do her "business", LOL) at 7:00.
Shake head at headlines of: "Unemployment rate SHREDS predictions" (Lucas county here has 6.5%, Ohio 5.5% (**up.5 percent since April - I oughta know, lol), both higher than national. Read about how "Stock market" had largest one day drop (with news of Unemployment rate, and Oil rising to $139 a barrel - I suppose we'll see $4.50 a gallon at the pumps by July 4th!!)
Bid "Mom and Dad" a good morning when they got up at 8:00am. Move car for mom so she could drive to RiteAid to get some "home supplies". Go to Speedway to get banannas (sorry M & D, I was hungry last night - I finished the last.:-( 9:00 - Climb ontop of house and garage roofs, clean twigs, branches, and limbs off of roof. Clean catkins out of valleys on house roof. Clean bedroom, ride bike over to RiteAid to pickup prescriptions (woohooo - saved 45% with the MedCo. prescription card over the cost of "no insurance"!)

Update website. Watch baseball highlights on ESPN. Check status of Unemployment claim (no news on an approval and payments yet), and check for any possible "job leads". None. (I've put in over 6 applications at different companies in the last 2 weeks, and haven't received a call for an interview from even one of those yet! :-(
Sunday and Monday are usually my job hunting days (I'm thinking Toledo hospital, Promedica and "THE City of TOLEDO!! ("Here I come Mr. Mayor", Wish me luck!)
Pickup kylie at 2:00, bring her home!! Help her get settled into her room for the next 7 days! (Check Mudhens for scheduled home games (I would like to take Ky and Grampie to a game next week - Kind of as a "vacation treat":-) Get out fishing poles, clean up, lub, check tackle (I promised Kylie a few mornings of fishing at Oak Openings next week) Get down bike carrier rack from garage attic. Cleanup, try on trunk of car, take it for a short test drive around the nieghborhood. (I think Ky and I will do a little "trail riding" on a couple of other mornings, when we are not fishing.:-)
Eat dinner (Burgers on the grill - I've missed dad's "grillin" so much for the last 8 months, my "mouth is waterin" as I type this! LOL!
Games of dominoes, ice cream, bedtime story and prayers with Kylie (Krista asked me not to say anything to Kylie about her 4th semester grade card - She had the lowest marks she has ever received in 5+ years of school (in science and in math) But I'm not real sure how to approach some "father-daughter "educational" mentoring, and summer-tutoring with Ky, if I am not supposed to say anything to her about her grades??!? (*The good news is: SHE is with Mrs. WILEY next year (I asked Ky: "Mrs. Why-lee"?? Ky said: "NO DAD, Mrs. Willy!! ...and got the news on a LITTLE WILLY gonna be runnin around the classrooms soon! Congrats Mr and Mrs. Wiley!! Woohoo!! (God bless the teachers, for they are the "Apples of God's eyes"! :-)
stay up watch highlights, eat popcorn, "Myspace", up in my room so as not to disturb the rest of family. (It's difficult on us all, because I have to "sneak out" to the "driveway steps" to have a cigarette late at night" (sorry bob and roxy, I know that I screen door "creaks", and at 3:00 in the morning that can sound annoying.
I just wish dad would let me get one of those "window exhaust" fans (ya know, with the 2 fan blades), and tuck it in and out of my bedroom window that is over the driveway door - I could "puff" little "puffs" of cigarette smoke, and I believe it would be "non-detectable" from anywhere in the house...that way I would never even make a "floor creak" or "house groan" outside of my own bedroom to "possibly disturb" any other member of our family or ESPECIALLY EVEN THE NEIGHBORS!!

"Well this one comes with "voice activated power window controls...watch" Then John said in a command: "WINDOWS DOWN" (and unknowingly "hit the down button for the windows on the remote" LOL). Hi Everyone!

Thanks again for spending as much time as you all could with us - It was a wonderful visit, made even more special by each one of you - for everyone changing their schedules, everyone going out of their way to accomodate us, and especially Bonny for giving up several of her treasured vacation days to be in Toledo. I loved every minute of it. Thanks to Dad for taking us all to dinner (for my birthday - LOL), for our pre-dinner conversation and refreshments, Mom for the fantastic meals, and Bill for researching photo opportunities and antique stores before we got there and leading the caravan to the Botanical Garden, and to Kylie for her beautiful hand made birthday card and gift. Get dressed in my best IRISH GREEN (F.B.I., and St. Patty's day bowler hat - "Full Blooded Irish", LOL) Drive over to Del Taco for my "tradition Irish dinner" (6 tacos, LOL) Ahh, stuff like this just make me love this "neighborhood" (city) sometimes...

Friday, 3/20/09 - Kylie come back to spend another weekend. (Saturday we may try to get to a "MS benefit concert" at Tam-O-Shanter arena in Sylvania (Ky's free admission, but it depends if I can get the money together for my ticket or not:-), reward movie (High School Musical 3 - I think she has this one at her mom's, but I wanted to get her a copy for here too!:-)

Tues., 4/7/09 - Krista, Jeff and Thomas come pickup Kylie, after Kylie was here, for the first half of Kylie's SPRING BREAK!! (It was a cold 5 days - we stayed indoors most of the time - cooler weather! 30s, Brrrrr) Kylie and I did make a couple of trips out to Maumee to visit with her cousins, and one special one, to where their horse "Annie" is stabled! (We each got to ride her around the barn! Then I got to get out the acoustic, and do some "good ole-country boy crooning! Yehaw!)

We rollerbladed, we shot some baskets in our driveway, and did see "Monsters Vs. Aliens" in 3D on the first day of her vacation. She also attended my Bible Study dinner and class (on Sunday, 4/5/09), and my teacher, Mrs. Schultz called her a "very astute student", we watched a couple of DVD's together and one trip to the library. Billiards, Air hockey, Foosball, darts, and many games of UNO! We had a good time, and she "thanked my" and smothered me with many "Hugs of Thanks" goodbye:-). On monday we had our talk about the "BIRDS and BEES" (something every dad looks foward to)..and mostly all I heard from kylie was: "Mom already told me that", "I know that", "I know how it works", "we studied that in health"....she didn't have many questions for me, somethink she does have a pretty good idea of how "mommy has a baby". (I think mostly she was just "getting it out of the way", when she started with "Mom has talked to me about sex....How come you never talk about it to me too?" (I thought "Okay.." that's something between a mother and a daughter. *sigh*, so I answered: "What would you like to know?" Anyways, long story short "Whew, glad that talks over with" and "I don't talk about, cuz "I ain't never gettin any"!! LOL!! At least we ended with our agreement again: "We both "abstain from sex" until AFTER you (kylie) are 18!" deal!, shake on it!) Bill and Kylie buy 2 VITO's pizzas for the 5 of us, we ate in the family room, then Kylie got out the blocks for Thomas, and her "little engine that could" book/train set. After dinner, we all went upstairs to show Krista, Jeff and Thomas, Kylie's bedroom, then play Wii on the TV in my room. Resolved issue, printed me a "Payment reciept" showing "no arrears, completely caughtup", said to "Keep paying state of michigan", Michigan will pay Ohio, Ohio pay Wood County, and Wood County pay Krista (whew, if you ask me, it would be alot easier to just "close the michigan case", and I pay directly to wood county, but Josh said "Amelia" at Wood County CSEA want to "keep the payments they way they are right now"..asked Josh "what if they send me ANOTHER statement saying I am "in arrears" (when actually I have "always been current":-), he said "call me again, I'll get it straightened out again".
